    To Light Or Not To Light?

    I've got a light in there, but will probably change over to a heat lamp. It's getting cold here, and while I'm sure the girls will do just fine... I have a little girl (8 years old) that would be heart broken if anything happened.

    Post your FIRST EGG pics!

    First eggs! Not just one, but three! Two small ones, and the larger one was a double yolker! Scrambled them up this morning for the little girl in the photo. Went down to the coop to find another new egg! Rhode Island Reds are doing well! Our barred rocks are still a couple months away...
