The eggs i get off my two are enough just for me and my hubby and i never put my eggs in the fridge i keep them on the side in the kitchen but i guess we use them with in a few days and they do probs last longer in a fridge but you don't buy them from the shops in a fridge! mine never get poo...

hmmm this is interesting thread has i feed the wild birds and my chickens love to eat up what the birds waste but i never thought about them catching lice etc off the wild birds...but i do dust my chickens often for that.. luv pam x

Hi Jodyjo ~ there both 29 weeks old and they are hens i get eggs off them both everyday!!! i do have a run to there coop and i've tried letting them in there has soon has they get up but just one hen is noisey so i thought i'd let them have free range of my garden has soon has they wake up but...

Same here ~ Food and water available always and they free range all day.
