    it took me some time, but I got to take over the whole stall :) I'm up to 36 girls and planning to expand again at some point. I can't keep up with the demand for fresh eggs.

    I just purchased a bucket heater from tractor supply http://www.tractorsupply.com/allied-precision-cast-aluminum-sinking-de-icer-1500-w-2170843 safe for plastic buckets, and puts the heat right over the nipples. I'll let you know how it makes out.
