    I ️just need to say I am just loving my Polish chicks. I bought some eggs and hatched them just recently. the chicks I kept are now 4 weeks old and I have 13 more eggs in the incubator. I wish I could keep them all. But I cant. So my question is, if I choose some to keep to hatch my own eggs...

    Sorry I wasn't sure how new you were to this. Last fall I found farmers selling barley and oats on Kijiji I couldn't locate any wheat at that time, I've had to go to the feed store since.

    Thanks for the quick replies. I sprayed around the wound with Some anti septic and just prepared a drink with some garlic and cider vinegar for him. I will see if I can get a picture of it.

    I have had no luck either. My hubby refuses to admit defeat so they are still in the incubator. I'm starting to look for more eggs to set. Only one of my hens is laying right now so I'm looking on the Internet in my area. Were you using a homemade incubator? What might you do differently next time?

    Hmmm I've seen posts where people are saying they roll around quite noticeably. Mine are in the carton so obviously they won't roll but I'm wondering if I would at least see a wiggle?
