    So I hatched, raised, and butchered some American Bresse. Afterwards, I then let their parents - pure bred Mom and Dad Bresse co-mingle with my brown layer flock. I can put Mom (the hen) up for a month by herself and then reintroduce Dad (the rooster) and make some more pure bred Bresse...

    Here's my jersey Giant in better days: Another rooster started harassing him and I let them work it out then I discovered this today: Don't know if he lost the eye or not. It looks like an infection. Looking for solutions.... I have him isolated and away from the other chickens...
