Jersey Giants thread for pictures and discussion

Can you post a pic of all three? I have had folks sell me giants that ended up australorps. Giants always have black eyes and yellow bottom feet. Beaks as chicks are mostly black. Meyer has not done me wrong in past, but I have never ordered multiple breeds. The chick in pic resembles giant, but I need to see them together.

At that age, they won't be showing yellow on the bottom of the feet yet. Let me browse some Jersey chick pics......

Sorry, these aren't the best pics. The first 2 are of a little girl that just had her butt cleaned, and wasn't entirely thrilled with the experience. The last pic is pretty blurry. A lot of my BJG's had feet that were half pink. half dark at that age, but they are all dark willow/yellow now.

P.S. I'm betting #7 is your Jersey. Compare the beak in my fuzzy pic.

One of my girls (#7) looks almost exactly like these ones now (at 5 days old). She has solid black beak & wings...Buuut is the smallest of the trio, LOL. The other 2 have partially black beaks & some white feathers on their wings. I will take a pic of all 3 together tomorrow. Thank you!

White tips on the wing is not unusual, but they should disappear after the first molt. Check out the shanks (not the toes), they should be a dark grey color.

The 'shanks' will be thick in diameter as well compared to...well, just about any other breed of chick that I know of. Even if a jersey chick presents as 'little', she will still have sturdy little legs.
Those jersey legs, in my opinion are undeniable!

For anybody that shows, I would love some opinions on my 2 cockerels. Both born in March.
