    Bird Color

My black Roos are all black it is just my blue Roos. My main roo is blue, the next in charge is also blue....I do have some black Roos that are on the bottom of the order...even the hens fight them. I know that's a lot of Roos but I have a lot of hens. So, with what you said could it only...

    Bird Color

I raise quality birds and haven't had any new blood in my line for some time now. I raise blue/black/splash Ameraucana's and my line was started by reputable people. I was just wondering if it was normal to see light blue (on my roos) edged neck feathers, ticks of red/yellow here and...

One thing I've always noticed is that Ameraucanas always have white on the bottoms of their feet (whitish) and "EE" will be yellow on the bottoms of their feet. I'm not talking about right when they hatch but 3 maybe 4 wks old.

I was reading trying to catch up and saw a comment on the Splash will probably never be accepted and was just wondering why when it is just a double dilute off of the black. B/B/S breed true as far as in their "color scheme" so to speak. Maybe it's because of my horse background that I'm...

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy : Quote: Roo ~Aspen Thanks Mrs. Fluffy Puffy.....just what I thought I'm usually good at this but with my Ameraucanas...not so much..LOL. One thing I try to go by is leg size and this one also has fuller legs.
