    They were not quite so crowded when we opened the box but they crowded up after so maybe they were scared or something? It was like 80 yesterday.

    Thanks! Checked on them this morning and the surrogate momma is super happy and the little chickies are following her around.like they should. My friend Krista has had chickens for years, but this is all new to me. I swear there is nothing cuter that this!

    My friend and I went to a ranch today and we bound some newborn chicks. OMG they are so cute! Ameraucaunas, Wyandotts, Red Sex links and Chochins. She put them under a broody hen that had a bunch of infertile eggs she was sitting on. I will take mine in a few weeks after they are able to handle...

    I think that pet stores carry them for parrots. Parrots LOVE to look at themselves and those mirrors have to be strong to stand up to their powerful beaks.

    What cuties! Hasn't this wind been horrible? I am out in Boron and the sand that has been blowing around has driven me mad! We had to repair our back gate today after it blew over yesterday.     Hello! I am a total newbie :)

    My neighbours all have chickens so I know they can be had out here. I just want to be responsible and not just get any old breed. The people next to me have a rooster that is quite the crower, LOL. I could ask them what kind they have, but theirs are not pets.
