    Daisy’s mother is a mallard colour, her father a fawn and white ( he has bad angel wing). They were all given to me as Indian Runners, but I can’t vouch for their pedigree😉

    The first pic shows Daisy earlier in the year with her wings sticking out; second pic shows her today, after her recent moult. Her wings look completely normal now. I cannot understand it.

    Thanks, yes that is my concern! I might try the sock idea, & if it does survive, I think it might well become a house chicken!

    It is very strange but the chick seems as though it is trying to free the "attached" wing. It does actually look like it might be coming loose, but I don't know if this would be a good thing..... Phew! The chick seemed really distressed, pulling at its wing, & when I examined it, the feathers...
