  5. All grown up and starting to lay. I have (2) blue Cochins - one starting to lay, (1) Bantam - not laying (2) Americanas - one laying and (1) Rhode Island Red - a real keeper and I wish I had more because she is friendly and lays constantly.

    Don't worry, I don't think that you are talking to yourself about your coop. It is a wonderful coop and I think that most are very jealous of what you have created. As for Jetdog's response I am sure that little slot below is for ventilation.
