One critic I’d mention is the lack of the step “read through a feature length novel worth of the author of the recipe’s life experiences”, but otherwise, perfect article, 10/10
Ok I would usually agree with that from everything I’ve seen/read, ect, but I have notice a lot of silkie roosters in Australia do seem to have visible wattles so idk?? But thanks for the input! 😊
Hi. not exactly sure how to start a thread so I'll just dive right in.
I have a silkie cockerel, he's a eb? based buff and he's about 6-7 months old. He's obviously bearded, the question is, is it one copy or two? Iknow it's fairly hard to tell, let alone just from still images, but if anyone...
Good idea. They’re pretty regular where I live too, or even the power going off without proper warning and it’s always a stress when incubating. Sounds like you’ve got a good plan, you should be fine. :)
Not necessarily. I recently set 11 eggs under a broody and on day 4 she got up off the nest for a few hours and wouldn’t sit back down so I had to move them under another broody. 9/11 eggs hatched, or 9/10 if you account for one of the eggs mysteriously disappearing. The 10th egg was infertile...
No, thanks for following me! :D I like the humour in your articles btw, I’ll probably review the rest of them as long as you don’t mind me flooding your notifications haha😅
Wow! I’ve heard of other people hatching chicks from store bought eggs but it’s pretty uncommon. Do you have any other chicks for him to be with/could you buy one or two? Chickens are flock animals and they don’t do well on there own. He looks pretty strong and healthy though. Have you named him?
