    Green yolk sack?

    Ok we were candeling eggs that were ready to be hatched and were dead and they were suppose to hatch by now so we opened it up and it has green yolk? its mixed in with yellow though. Is this normal? its a quail and I have never hatched quail before. It was fully developed and looks like it died...

    AGH thermometers wayyyy off?HELP!

    I have two different thermometers in the incubator and one is reading 104 the other one reading 99.6. How could this be?     Harpo, Thanks for the link. Thats what I did. It specifically says it it sinks its a dud right? And thats what it did. Am I missing something here? Sorry if my ? sounds dumb I am just not getting it.

    Ok now what did I do wrong. I did the float test like the directions said and I had two that were on the bottom of the dish. The others floated and about 15% was above water.     How do I find out if they are still alive. they were suppose to hatch yesterday and then I have some that were going to hatch next week. Is it all over? it was probably like that for about 8 hours. Last night when I went to bed it was 101 at 9 pm. When I woke up this morning it was 105 eeks.
