Starting new thread so my pullets will lay.

Lol, loved this post! Maybe if I do the same my hen will start laying as well! She's a truly ginormous 4 1/2 month old American Bresse that's been staking out a nesting spot for weeks but so far nothing... Good luck!

I have an American Bresse hen that I hatch from an egg back in mind March. I don't know much about the breed and I was wondering if anyone had any experience raising them that had any helpful info. She hasn't started laying yet but her comb is pretty red. She's by far the largest hen I've ever...

    Lame guinea fowl

This spring I hatched my first guinea fowl along with a bunch of chickens and quail and until recently everything had been going great. However I noticed one of my guineas favoring one of its feet a week or so ago so I caught it to take a look (a harrowing experience for us both) but couldn't...

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me with identifying the sex of these little guys! Smallest, most flighty and vocal Not shy of being handled but always on the move Largest and most chill, this one startles at nothing. I have one other not pictured that is pure white. Figured...

    Late January Hatch?

Between leaving this morning and getting home around 2pm something attacked my chickens, went right through the fence. I only found one alive but it's wing had been torn off. I'm heart broken. These are my babies that I hatched myself.
