He’s about 6 months old. So far he’s been a good boy. Hope that continues like having him around

Patty our roo is shouting and me as I collect eggs. Glad his crow is not too loud...

I also went with 3/4” plywood and put a sheet of linoleum over it. Easy clean.

Here she is teaching them to jump up to the rungs of the roost by tapping on the rung. Pat the rooster is very good at it, mostly because he so badly wants a treat.

Don’t beat yourself up over it, it’s not for everybody. I’m sure you will find a new home for them.

We have 7 total, 2 blue Laced Red Wyandotte, 2 buffed Orpington, 2 Olive Eggers, and 1 Lavender Orpington.
