    Would there be any interest in starting a breed club for campines? I know this is still a very slow breed when compared to the growing popularity of others.     Wow, I haven't been on here in forever. It's good to see everyone with greater numbers and better birds than what I remember it used to be! I myself have bred out a lot campines this year, most of them golden pullets. My spring show season has been pretty good this year, too!

    You're cockerel with feathers on his shanks looks to me like he has marans blood in him. Marans are single combed and have feathers which only line the outside (lateral) part of the shank. BUT marans do not have white ear loves, so like the others said, he definitely is a mix. Your small female...

    Notice the light coloring in the hackle feathers. That comes from either a partridge or a birchen based variety.

    Are they dubbed? I don't really see much of a comb at all. Your bird in the back looks like a dubbed white OEGB. Does it have a long tail? Preston

    Sure is neat! And it definitely doesn't look like a cross to me. It has a comb similar to wyandottes and still is hen feathered. Preston
