The amount of steam that can come off chickens at night if they are closed in is considerable. Is your coop vented at night? I would blow dry before putting her back in a slightly vented coop. What to do with hens for hurricane?
We always just brought them in the house in whatever cages or very large cardboard boxes we had. We laid plastic down on the floor and put the cages on top of that, in the living room.
