    Those who say chickens don’t lay eggs while sleeping... this happened at 1:40am. it’s winter and the lights are off 30 minutes after sunset. They are quite young and started to lay three weeks ago. and also, it was pouring last night.

    Hi Silkiecuddles, I added electrolytes and probiotics for the first two weeks of their water feed, thus the coloring. One silkie arrived with pasty butt, so I just wanted to make sure they are okay for the next few days.
