I have a americana that hangs out with a bronze breasted turkey. so much so that you would believe he thought he was one. The same turkey mothers 3 other chicks about 5 weeks old.

Hello and welcome beesanddeesfarm. I built my roost about 4' of the ground and they have to fly up half way to reach the ladder to hop up the rest of the way. So far so good. Hope you are able to secure your area soon.
