Thanks I'm wondering now if they're a mix of some kind - the duck on the bottom left of this picture is a blue Swede/ancona mix and her coloring is pretty similar to a couple of these.

We brought these ducks home yesterday to add to the ones we have already and they don't look like the pictures I'm seeing online of the breed he said they are. Any ideas? Supposedly they're a male (the one in front with the most light grey coloring, though I don't see a drake feather) and...

You can tell by vent sexing but that's the only way at this age and it's doubtful they'll let you do it before you buy them as you could hurt them if you do it wrong.

Mine are a little over 7 weeks and feathered now and they've been outside (with our 3 new older ducks) the last few days - we hit 30ish the other night and I checked on them a few times and they were fine and not huddled together or anything.
