    So i hatched around 30 quail this morning and 3 have splay leg i put the bandage splint on them hoping it will help and they just lay there with the splint on they're on paper towels it doesnt seem to be helping them i dont know what to do

    Thats not good, i could sell you some eggs possibly once mine start laying near march if you plan on having coturnix quail i recommend you get the regular ones or jumbo brown they are much easier to sex

    I cant seem to find a high protein crumble at the local tractor supply,there are some local feed stores i guess ill go check them out to see what they have.thanks a lot what type of sand should i be giving them to bathe in?

    Alright im having some trouble. i bought them 20% protein feed chicken starter/grower but it also said for quail. i read on here that if they arent getting enough protein they will peck.also do i have to buy them grit or sand? all im giving them now is feed and water
