    It's illegal to own a rooster in my area, also I can't have any more pets. Also if a chick somehow hatched I would make sure it would not die. Also the cream leg bar is also old 4 years I think the isbar is 6 years.

    Yes my hens have gone broody before and I hatched chicks before I was just thinking of making this a week long project. I lock her from her nest for half and hour to eat drink have dirt baths then I let her back in with her eggs.

    Check with your local vet and get oral antibiotics for your chicken 2milliters a day for 15 days. This will be very effective.

    For quail I do two milliliter twice a day for 16 days and she took 10 days to recover from the sickness and 19 days to become not contagious. So I imagine you should do 3 milleliter twice a day for a chicken.

    I had this with a quail so weak she couldn't eat. Get antibiotics from the local vet give it to her 2 times a day. For 16 days

    Ok. BTW the quail after being able to just sleep for a while she has been acting much better. I think it is possible she has a mild sickness but the other quail wouldn't let her sleep it off. I kinda panicked at first when I saw her condition she is not doing great but she is doing better.

    Thank you. But there is one weird thing she laid and egg every two days sometimes even daily. She laid eggs every two days last week! She also laid an egg two days ago and was very energetic until yesterday at around 6pm she became this sick quail. It's weird. Do quail die this way?
