Hello I have a year-and-a-half old coturnix quail and yesterday she was doing great she was very energetic I gave her some mealworms she was acting like all of the other quail then at the end of the day when I open their coop to usually say hi give them a couple treats and then replace their food and water she came lumbering up super tired she gave a couple of half-hearted pecks and then went back into the coop and fell asleep I wasn't that concerned I had assumed she had just woken up. But for the entire next day she continued being tired and got more tired and more tired and I got increasingly worried. So I have her inside and isolation cage because this had happened once before. My other quail who has since then passed got a disease that you guys in this community said it was quail bronchitis. When I took her inside I saw Brown splatter marks and she's fluffed up this is exactly what my other quail did 4 days before she passed. Is this the way quails die? If so please let me know if I should get her put down to save her suffering. Does anybody have a treatment? I don't know how old she was when I got her but I have had her for a year. She is still scratching herself(just saw that). Should I have her put down? Or should I try to cure her? Please let me know what to do. Should I put her down, or try to cure her? last time this happened my quail died. Please help me. Also she is gasping and sneezing this brown liquid. PS those bald spots on her are and old injury that has been delt with and the feathers just never grew back. Also this quail had a pretty interesting life please let me know if you would like to know about this quails odd and wonderfully life. Sorry about the jumble of this Post I am sad. This is my quail that I daydream of while at school, play with while at home and love with every cell in my body. Please help me
fingers crossed
