    Do your ducks let you pet them?

    I had a Cayuga that would let me pet her. Had to squat down to pet her. Sometimes she would sit down with me while I pet her. I’ve had Indian runners that didn’t like it

    I’ve got one of my ducks that walks around with its tail up mostly. It about a month old. Quite different.

    1year old duck free range mostly. I’m doing supervision for the little one. Also as we have 2 month old cats for now. Older girl has been broody lately.

    Figured out probably what got her. Let the other duck out today and saw a black snake inside with her.

    A different egg

    went to let the ducks out today and found a beige colored egg have been laying green ones. Maybe my other duck is laying now. Have an indian runner and Cayuga.

    Now wondering which duck laid these eggs. I have a cayuga and indian runner. When i took them out the indian runner went to the empty nest and looked. The first ones were tasted good. The eggs are a greenish in color.

    got my ducks back in June. So probably hatched around June 20th. A Cayuga and Indian runner. After a bit of reading I thought they would start laying early to mid February. Let them out today to feed and roam around I let them free range when I’m home to keep an eye on them. Today’s weather...

    Thanks. That's what I was wondering. Noticed it a few days ago. Hopefully a girl I wanted a girl one when I first started getting ducks.
