Hi guys my little hen has got a severely swollen eye which is watery. Interesting enough she’s eating very active and business as usual laying. The eye however is looking horrid - any suggestions?! I did have a cream legbar seemingly healthy drop dead suddenly she was only 9 months so unsure if...
woke up this morning and noticed a hen not moving. Upon closer look she had what seemed like discharge on her neck feathers which made them feel kinda crispy and her eyes were bubbly and swollen shut. Is there anything we can do?!!!?
Hi guys - would any of you know if there’s a way to fix this? It had a curled foot which is now straight but pointing in wrong direction I really don’t want to put it down as it seems healthy otherwise. Any suggestions?
Hello fellow chicken lovers! I was wondering if you were able to feather sex black copper marans? This is a 3-4 day old chick (excuse my dressing gown)
I put them in a seperate brooder as they were getting badly picked on and blood was drawn from navel of one chuck. One’s club foot has resolved itself but the other two I had to tape. I’m really hoping for the best. These hair gel babies are not the most attractive one must say. Is this common...

Sooooo I ran downstairs this morning and behold! Still in their shells. They definitely looked ready so I peeled all three of them. No remaining blood on membranes, no yolk so definitely were ready. I do think they got stuck as some of their exposed bit was almost glued together by a sticky...
it’s night time here in Oz so I’ll leave them overnight and make executive decision . They are definitely breathing but the one whose beak you cannot see is definitely some sort of stuck. I had to remove the other 9 chicks as it was getting so crowded and one had been hatched for couple of days...
Is this normal? I had 9 very healthy black copper maran and aracuana chicks hatch on day 20/21 and these eggs have been zipped but not hatching for past day. They are alive as I can see inside. Some were knocked around by the hatched chicks. I moved them around after removing the chicks as it...
