I live on a golf course and many mallards are laying all over the place. I found a nest a couple weeks ago and when I checked it yesterday there were two hens sitting on the same nest. Is this common? Has anyone ever heard of this? Just curious.
Thanks for all the advice. As far as their food goes, i read somewhere catfish food was nutritious for ducks byt ill follow up on that. the catfish feeder only gets about half of the feed in the pond when it goes off so this is why they have it. i have a corn feeder set up by my pond for deer...

I have a pair of mallards and 3 campbells(2 hens and a drake). I am having trouble finding their eggs. The pond is not very big and i do not see there being very many places where they can hide them but i havent had any luck. Anyone have any tips? Is it possible they are not laying yet?
Thanks. I have campbells and mallards. What are the chances the mallards will stay on my pond if i do not clip them? They always have plenty of food and were pin raised before i got them.
