    This yr I have started a small chicken hatching, Selling, Swaping business. One of my customers wants meat birds. Another wants to sell his flock of 18 month old hens.RIR. Is an 18 month old hen to tough? Please advise!

    1 Hen laying and 5 not far behind. Not sure the best way to go about this.

    You can add oyster shell to the remaining feed. Then to laying pellets. Some put oyster shell onthe side as an option for the hens to chose. I didnt find this effective as my hen that is laying started having soft shells. :(

    Yes if you consume it every day. My doctor during pregnancy told me in a single dose you can not od on it. Most of the other threads on here do suggest asprin and have dosage guidelines. I did read online just now to not give it to poultry.
