    She is so fluffy that a pictures would not reveal anything. It has gone down since yesterday but is golf ball sized and very hard. I am hoping it is not a tumor . She seems to enjoy sitting on my lap while I pet and stroke her while I massage the crop. She closes her eyes and relaxes.

    That was a great story. You lovely chicken is so lucky to have you take care of her. Sounds like your flock was attacked by coyotes. My flock had a close encounter a few weeks ago with that kind of threat and luckily I was there to prevent it.

    Thanks so much. We live in a very very wet area of the Pacific Northwest. So, it is impossible to keep the coop completely dry. I do clean all the time and do the best I can that way. I am going to give her something for worms, just in case. Thanks so much again.
