Yipee!!

One out! 1 zipping, 3 more pipped! This is soooo exciting! Not happy my kids are home sick, but so happy we had to stay home because of it. Who knew they'd be early?

4 pips out of 25! - no zips yet...not due until Saturday morning - a day and a half early... I wonder if the temp was too high?

I hear peeping! No pips, but boy is that peeping an awesome sound. Hatch day should be late tomorrow or Saturday. Can't wait to see my first incubator hatch actually happen.

I'll join! Wish I'd found the thread sooner. I set my first incubator eggs (chicken) on the 14th at 10 am - so I'm technically only 10 hours behind. I've got 25 left after the first two candlings - 13 weren't fertile and 4 stopped developing. Barnyard mixes - can't wait to see how the...

I don't know what breed the chick is, but it definately has the frizzle gene. Very cute as they grow.

I just ordered my first silkies - partridge...because the coloring is sooo beautiful. Yes, hatchery - but I had to start somewhere! I can't wait. Three more weeks.
