Chick is peeping aswell

Please help... My chick has been stuck in the same position with no progress for about 6 to 7 hours. The membrane has now dried up and gone a funny dark tan colour. I think my little baby is stuck! What do I do?? Here's a picture of what it looks like.

Seems like it's been taking forever! It's been at least 9 hours since external pipping and still hasn't zipped

My chick is doing well but certainly taking its time. Hopefully will be at the zipping stage soon :)

I have a little silkie x bantam egg in my brinsea mini eco incubator. Yesterday (day 21) I heard chirping from the egg from 5pm to about 10pm. Then the chirping stopped. The chirping has stopped and still no signs of pipping through the shell. Have had a very sleepless night :(

Thanks ill try covering the incubator with a towel. If its on lockdown is it ok to open the incubator up to add more water? I don't want to cause complications

It's now day 21 and nothing. I candled the egg on day 19 and saw movement from my little chick. I'm so nervous! :(

The incubator comes with a thermometer and I can only change the temperature with a small screw driver so I hope that 37 degrees C is ok. 37 was the set temperature for the incubator

I have a silkie x bantam egg in my Brinsea mini Eco incubator and today is day 20. The egg has been incubating at a consistent temperature of 37 degrees celcius. Shouldn't the egg be pipping or atleast wobbling by now? This is my first hatch with an incubator.
