    Sometimes putting them inside coop at night and then helping them out in the morning can help them figure it out. But if you don't have that much time for the most part they will figure it out overtime. Good luck.

    I agree no question is stupid. I can see why the Buff thing could be a little confusing. Around here I hear people referring to Buff Orpington's as (Yellow Buff's) That would lead one to think Buff might be it's own breed. I am convinced people make up their own names for all kinds of things.

    My helpers are now inspecting the small coop we built for their MeMa! When I turned my back my two year old daughter climbed right up the chicken ramp and into the coop. My son with the wood in hand is figureing out how to trap her in. We had a great time together working on this coop!
