    Frustrated with usps

    I think that’s a great idea. After stalking the box twice on Saturday, I called the farm and she said they weren’t so to ship till The 20th. I explained no where in my emails or receipt did I see ship date. She apologized. But I will surely call post office and explain. Thanks that’s a great idea.

    I just ordered my first set of mail ordered fertile eggs from Strombergs Farm online. They only ship on Tuesday which should be enough time with a normal Post Office. But I know my post office. They never notify you of a package till 2 to 3 days they signed for it. Guess I’ll see how this goes

    Thermostat made a difference

    The black one is a Barr rock with an amercana rooster mix. I used an igloo cooler and my husband cut a hole in the side for a light fixture. I used a 100 watt bulb with ceramic fixture.     My babies are hatching now. Me and my husband made a homemade incubator and added a thermostat to help regulate it. Works great.

    Temp. Staying at 100 and humidity is 62. No fan yet. Billy went to get me a dimmer switch. I'm going through old computer parts for a fan. I'll get it just right for spring chickens lol. How r u? Hey my meal worms are doing great.

    Yes I bought a combo temp/Humidity one Using a 25w bulb and now hubby running to Lowe's and getting me a dimmer switch. This is fun. Plus my meal worms are doing great. Looking forward to spring.

    Today I made my first incubator out of an old cooler. My first time hatching. I used a 60 watt light bulb. I'm waiting to see if temperature holds true. Humidity is great. We live in Texas and it's humid all the time at the coast. I'm so excited. Thanks for reading. I'll keep posting my results.

    She should have known there was risks. She seems like an unreasonable person and hateful to attempt to hurt your feelings and reputation. You were not at fault. Things happen. Stay away from her. I'm sorry this happened to you.
