    I've had my hen for a year now. She is awesome! The leader of the flock. Very friendly but boy is she boisterous!!! She is the first to "call" me when I come out to let them out in the morning and the first to come when called. She is my Rockstar!

    Concerned about this large abscess on our little bantam's breast/neck. Been watching it for a few days and it is rapidly growing. Found a couple of scabs underneath it. It is oblong and hard, Anyone have any advice? She acts fine but it can't be comfortable!

    Hello all, I am newby wondering what to do with my 5 layers now that 4 of them have stopped laying here in Michigan. I understand there is a controversy about whether or not to add artificial light to keep them laying but I don't know why. Can anyone explain this to me?
