    Thanks everyone! I really adore her cause she is spunky and her pal Sun in the pic is sort of a lazy gal. So they are great friends! Every night Stella jumps up the whiskey Barrell to roost until we cme put them in their cage. Sun the Red one, does not roost much...and there she was tonight next...

    Here is my BR Stella. She is wild! Do you think she might be a fella? Her comb is just now getting red. She DOES NOT have rear plumes...she was sold to me as a pullet by a reputable store. She has not laid any eggs yet.

    I am in Texas...daughter is in PA. I need to ship a bird to her that is just too loud for our stealth operation. But I can't decipher various posts/inx. Question: Can I ship via Fed X? If so how( their website is not helpful) Do I have to have a special container?

    chickens turn nose up at crumbles

    My chickens ( 2 hens) just make a mess of the crumbles. They won't eat it. I let them free range for hours...also toss them grapes....what can I do to get them to eat their crumbles? Could they be getting enough via free range?

    I think it is made in Texas...out in Weimer// http://www.m-ginc.com/ Every feed store around here seems to feed it. It is cheap too. But I use Layena. I did use their feed on our FFA meat chickens
