Went to the feed store and got me 2 Rhode Island Reds and then my wife went later that night and the store got a new batch of Chicks fresh from the egg ya know.
There was one that was all white and had 3 dots on him. Do you think he was crossbred or is that just a thing Here is a pic of her.
Can you put ducks and chics together?
We got a couple of chics that are about a month old
and we just got 2 ducklings that still have the fur coat.
I was wondering if I could put them together or is it better to keep them apart.
We are in Mount Vernon by the Texarkana area and we are looking in to getting ducks.
If there are no breeders on here may be someone can point in in the best direction to acquire some good pet ducks.

We have 3 hens and 3 nesting boxes inside of a large old Dog house.
I find Daily that one box is filled with Fecal matter the other box is not used at all and today I found 2 eggs in the same box.
Is it normal for them to lay eggs of a different hen in the same box after the other one...
I have some Buff Orpians and I am looking to add a couple of others to the mix but am looking for another bread that will get along with this one. any suggestions.

My hen took a hiatous on laying eggs but a few days ago we got one.. she seems to only lay at night because we checked on her in the morning and there is nothing but about 8pm she has one in the box.
