Broody hen dies, i find her 24hrs later ,temp outside about 50f, are they already dead?

Like suggested candle the eggs and hope you can save them. If they are 17 days you should see clear movement.

I had eggs shipped from Yukon Oklahoma to tahlequah from a hatchery and hatched maybe 3 out of 2'dozen. They wrapped them in single ply toilet paper and put them in an egg carton. Was not pretty. Have had others from Oklahoma ship me eggs and great hatches. Okcarla wraps them so well it's...

I had a hen lay shell less eggs before. Not sure what the problem was. She to had access to oyster shells. She only laid a few then went back to laying nice large brown eggs. Perhaps it's just quality control issues in there reproductive organs. Never gave mine no cider either.

I know a lot of game fowl breeders like to hatch out within a month or to. The majority think diseases are less likely before the summer heat. I like to hatch anytime myself but sense my shop burned I can't hatch like used to. Be carful with those heat lamps, make sure nothing is close and that...

an Easter egger or ee lays naturally colored eggs green being the most common with pink and blue on occasion. Pullets are young hens of any breed and cockerals are young roosters. NN is a naked neck chicken. You either love or hate them.

What Breeds do you believe to be the BEST Foragers?

Game hens anyday. Great active foragers, excellent broodies. But they lay white to off white eggs. I've got a few in the yard been free range for a couple years now.

Carebearsmiles I'm also from tahlequah. I live north of town in Gideon. I second the guess on black Australop. In my experience they're great layers. How many Pekins you have?

Is all dog food bad? What the heck do I feed my dogs then?!?

My dogs are fat and happy eating purina. I see no reason to change. I've seen dogs 15 years old eating ol Roy. My oldest is 10 and a friend stopped by and his buddy couldn't believe her age for how active and healthy she was.
