Yes..the thumb knuckle is still swollen and the arm is still tender at the crack but the bruising is all gone now. No longer using the wrap.
So sorry to hear this...prayers for you and your family

Nice roo.

We received 1 3/4 inches of good soaking rain. The runs are swamped but the birds all stayed dry. Will need to clean out a few outside feeders. We didn't get much runoff, but the grass will begin to grow again for a while. More rain will begin to fill the ponds some. Love it!

Robyn your picture in the Back yard Poultry magazine was really nice.
Saw in the magazine that using a roof vent cover would help so may look into getting two for those feeders today.
Also the article about the GE rough service worklight was eye-opening. The Teflon coating when heated gives off a gas that will kill confined birds so don't use it for your heat source in the coops or brooders. Any lightbulb that has a Teflon coating to keep the glass from shattering, will give off that gas. When I raised Lovebirds, we could not use Teflon coated pans for cooking because of the same gas release and danger.

Won't be able to attend the Green Country Swap...but looks like there will be lots of activity and fun for those who can go.
