I’m still pressing on but nothing seems to be helping and shes too weak to eat now. I’m forcing the corrid on her, keeping her clean. Shes just not coming back. We started corrid on Wednesday, and she seemed ok Thursday and almost perky Friday. Then this morning I found her sprawled out on her...
Yes! I’m going to try corrid, she’s always been kind of a lazy baby (we got her in November) I thought it was her personality but now I’m wondering if she hasn’t had something going on this whole time. I’ll get then e and B complex too..
Her smell is almost like cat pee? I didn’t really notice...
Would it hurt to treat her for coccidiosis first? See if there’s any improvement in a day or two? I hadn’t really thought of if since she’s been the only one doing poorly out of the 4 who have been housed together. Would I need to treat her coopmate? Thank you so much for your reply!
Hi all! We have a silkie that has been losing weight over the last few weeks that just has me stumped.
Shes bearded and has a pretty epic poof, and is probably about 6 months old at this point. I trimmed her feathers back from her face and she mostly lives inside as the winter has been tough and...
Hey all!
I’ve had chickens forever but just got my first turkeys in August, I think they were about 8-10 weeks old but the lady didn’t tell me. We thought both were female even though one was constantly strutting (especially at my cats haha) and now we’re pretty sure he’s a he as he is strutting...
That makes sense, factoring in hatch rates and things too.. learn by doing to an extent I guess? Second gen isn't that sure either, if you sell hatching eggs do you add a disclaimer then?
I love feathered legs on my NNs! Togepi has bell bottoms, haha! I got these two as a surprise in a bunch of hatching eggs (fun and funky mix from My Pet Chicken). I really want to cross them with my Easter eggers and silkies (I have a frizzled EE and a regular silkie roo) and see if I can't get...
Can anyone help me with genders on these two? Pretty sure black is a pullet my big grey frizzled one has me stumped!
Togepi
Pikachu
I was wondering how true they breed as well? If you cross them with non-NNs?
My TSC chicks are about 5 weeks old and everyone is saying they aren't Rhode Island Reds (as I was told). Soooo... What are they? (Besides awkward looking, everyone is molting their orange red feathers and getting in dark red.[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]
I just love my frizzled chick. Both of my NNs are so sweet. The grey is Pikachu and the black is Togepi. An obsession is growing! lol!
Should I make any adjustments to my coop for them for winter? I live in the mountains in Maryland and it gets pretty cold and windy.
Does anyone have any links...
