    I have a duckling that hatched two days ago and yesterday I noticed she was holding her one eye closed and when I opened it it looks like I ts got a film over her eye . I have been rinsing it and using terramycin . I’m not sure what happend or why else to do for her

    Yes but they weren’t really looking for anything besides his foot , they did notice he had some little pieces of metal in his stomach but they said that was normal and he would just poop it out

    They do not usually go near where the cars are but it is possible I know they like to eat and dig up everything so god only knows . They free rang during the day

    I feed them purina layena pellets , they are free rang during the day and at night they are put into a shed lined with hay and wood chips and I live in south jersey , I really hope it is not that all of the rest of them seem fine this morning .

    He was on clavamox 375 mg twice a day and carprofen 25 mg but he hadn’t been on it for a couple weeks to a months and yes he was acting completely normal I had no idea anything was wrong .

    But he was on very strong antibiotics for a couple months with an anti inflammatory so I’m guessing that could have hurt his liver and kidneys

    He was only about 8 months and I don’t believe he was over weight but I’m not sure but he was a jumbo pekin I believe so he was a pretty large duck
