I have an Easter Egger rooster for sale in northwestern NJ. I picked him up today in a lot of hens from our local market but I don't need another rooster. He is not a bad looking bird and appears healthy. I have him mixed into my flock right now and he is getting along well with the other...
I have an Easter Egger rooster for sale in northwestern NJ. I picked him up today in a lot of hens from our local market but I don't need another rooster. He is not a bad looking bird and appears healthy. I'm looking to get $10 for him. I'll try to get a photo of him shortly.
My coop/poultry barn is built almost entirely of recycled materials. It is not very pretty but it is functional. The base is a heavy oak shipping pallet, the frame is 2X4s and 4X4s from our old pool deck, the siding is flakeboard from shipping pallets, the doors are from scrap lumbers, the nest...
I rescued a goat from the livestock auction on Tuesday and he was covered in diarrhea and fleas so I gave him a bath with dog flea shampoo and he took the bath just fine. Smells better now too!
Hi hypnofrogstevie, I have a lot (20?) of half grown birds about 6-8" long and a few months old if you're interested. I don't know if they'd pick on your little guy though. You're welcome to come look at them. I have hens and roos of a variety of unknown breeds. There are still a lot of good...

I have 4 large hand-raised young Rhode Island Roosters that need to go to another home. I am asking $6.00 each to help cover the feed. One is getting aggressive and pecking, the other three are fine so far. They are beautiful! I'm located in Blairstown, NJ 07825.

I just googled Silver pheasant and that's what she is! It sounds like I'll have to wait a while to see if she's a female or if she feathers out to be a male, lol. Thanks again for the help!!!
Hi all, Earlier this year I was at the local livestock auction and got one of many boxes of chicks. In it were two "ring-necked pheasant" chicks. Unfortunately, one stressed himself out and died. the other is alive and doing well, sometimes in my coop and sometimes running around in the yard...
Yeah, the hardware cloth is great stuff! All of my coop windows have it but it doesn't do any good if the door is open! I am feeling a little better now, thanks everyone! I'll still keep the trap there and keep trying though!
Here's my guys sunning themselves and enjoying their pool. The big one is a white peking type, one of the little ones is a fawn runner and the other little one is a white.
Here's the white one when he was younger and my brother's favorite. He liked to preen my brother's beard and play with his...
