    i was wrong it is 11 weeks and i dont know if it is a rooster or hen. it does not have hackles yet but my black star roosters do. i just thought it was a rooster because it seems to be more aggresive.

    i used this web site along with these links as well. http://www.the-coop.org/wwwboard/discus/messages/1/6496.html the last link is what i used mostly but i used a hot water heater therm. but i think a wafer might be better. i hatched 27 of 28. good luck

    i built my incubator with the same and worried about it as well. my temps were 94.6-104.8 on one and 96.3- 103.3 on my other therm. i hatched 27 out of 28. i only opened the door three times in 20 days. good luck!

    this morning i started getting one or two pips. i went to work and got home and found that it was ten and then a new one hatched but some that started this morning were still the same. now i have twenty three of twenty eight that are piped but not hatched, it is day 19 so how long do they go...
