    What is your guys experience with rehoming 1 month old chicks that are likely boys on craiglists/livestock forums etc? I got a bantam chick just near 1 month and I don't know if it's best to put a listing up now or wait until he's feathered.

    Hey all, I live in Greenville TX, about 30 minutes away from Rockwall. Another poster told me to come here and ask around about if anyone would be willing to rehome a 3 wk old male bantam cochin chick.

    True, I think if it isn't free it might discourage people from feeding it to their animals. I will most likely raise it until it first crows (or not, fingers crossed).

    Ahh I figured :( we got it from someone selling a batch of chicks so I think if we didn't buy it,that might have happened to it anyway. Is it better to cull chicks this young?
