Hiya! I live near ya! About 55 minutes away!Hey all, I live in Greenville TX, about 30 minutes away from Rockwall. Another poster told me to come here and ask around about if anyone would be willing to rehome a 3 wk old male bantam cochin chick.
Try the Texas Dept. Of Agriculture.Hi, I'm actually from Washington but will be moving to TX Houston in a few months! I would really like to bring my flock with me though(15 chickens+6ducks) looked up the importation requirements and couldn't find anything on waterfowl and while I got an idea of what the chickens need Avian influenza, PT, and laryngitis free I don't have any idea were to contact to have them tested or the costs? Any of you bring backyard poultry into state before? Or know who I need to contact?

I have a brother, and also a son-in-law who love quail. It's a thought. I'm seriously considering it but life has been really busy. I'm not sure I need more responsibility. Lol
What age quail? Not sure how close to Tomball y'all are, but there is a guy in my community that has a hawk as a pet. He feeds it quail, he was looking to buy some for it. I can see if he's still interested if anyone has any to sell.
I just keep an eye out that it stays away from my girls.
You'll have to get the testing done there in your state.Hi, I'm actually from Washington but will be moving to TX Houston in a few months!
