    Chicken coop my husband built

Thats what we just did too. We got 6 and one was a roo so we just got 4 new pullets. To make 9 hens & 1 roo. I gotta say, going with new construction is nice. I used recycled wood palettes and some "yard wood". So planning was kinda limited. Are planning to have 2 dozen? I ask because you have a...

What breed is this little chick?

We got four little chicks a few weeks ago. They are about three weeks old and I think we have a Leghorn, an Ameraucauna, and a Black Cochin. But, I can't place this little brown/black chick. Any ideas? Thanks!

Can anyone tell the gender of this Ameracauna?

Are EEs separate from Ameraucaunas? Also her tail feathers are huge, way bigger than the other pullets. Any idea why that is?

One if our speckled Ameracaunas "came out" as a cock-a-doodler last week but he is a classic roo. No questions...

I have 4 more around a week old as well. Another leghorn, another ameracauna, a black cochin, and a black sexlink (I...
