Nothing?
I remember when I first joined this forum. I was so impressed at how helpful everyone was. Seems it's turned into a bunch of games... It's a shame.
I guess I'll take my questions elsewhere...
Update:
My roo has completely recovered from the dog attack. My internal layer has been culled.
I've treated with Corid numerous times using the "severe outbreak" dosage but continue to have blood in poops. I've cleaned out all the coops twice. I have not lost a single chicken nor have any...
Thank you so much for your reply. The dog attack was not the first, and most likely won't be the last. They are free range birds and occasionally while they're out the neighbors dogs get a few. It did not happen in the coop. It's the price you pay to have free range birds out here...
I'm a bit confused and I'm hoping someone can help out with some info.
First of all, this all started with a dog attack (neighbors dogs) that killed some silkies and left an OEGB hen missing. One of the other silkies had a wound to his face, but nothing too serious. They are all white so...
Anyone interested in hatching some eggs for me? My incubator is completely shot. I'm currently working on Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Black Java / Jersey Giant, and even a few OEGBs. No charge for eggs. I just want a report on hatch rates. Keep what you want, return what you don't.
Shoot...
I picked up these chickens yesterday and am not familiar with the breeds. I was hoping some of you could help me identify them.
3 of them are banties, which I have never had before. I'm not sure how big they normally are but these are about the size of a pigeon. They are the cutest things I've...
Thank you so much for the info. I think he's gorgeous and he's so good with the ladies. He's not part of any breeding projects so I'm not worried. I actually hope he gets more yellow. Do you have any pictures of yours?
This isn't really a breed or gender question but I thought this was the best place for this. My solid black cockerel started getting bright yellow feathers on his back and now they're popping up on his head and neck. He's getting more and more every day. I'm wondering if this is a normal color...
Okay, I'm a little confused about the dates on the replies on this post, but I just wanted to put this out there.
If you still have some chicken(s) in need of a home in the Springs area I'll happily take it/them. Shoot me a message if you're still looking for a home.
