So I went out to Le Peep, my coop, and found this egg under one of my chickens. The egg was from one of my birds, Cheekie. Earlier this month she laid an egg with no shell, and what looked like a deformed shell was beside it. So should I be worried about her? She also is looking like she lost...
Thank you! He is a very nice roo too! :) *edit* His parents are either silkie+silkie or silkie+frizzle... The people I got him from had very secluded show chickens, one a show silkie roo, a show silkie hen, and a show frizzle hen.
Hi, so this is my beautiful boy Columbia, and I know he is either a silkie or a sizzle, but what baffles me is his color!! He is gorgeous, but I have no idea what color he is. When he was born he was all black with a white spot on his head.... anyone have an idea? Sorry for any blurry photos...

So these are my baby chicks, the first one is Kahuna, she's a partridge sizzle and about 11 weeks, the second is Colombia, my silkie(?) rooster who thinks he is the most fabulous chicken around, and the third is Almalfi, my black sizzle hen. Colombia is 17 weeks along with Almalfi, they have...
I went out to the brooder to find Almalfi's (that's it's name) wing feathers curled a little more than the day before, and now all this cute curling is spreading!
WOOHOO!!! One of my new babies turned out to be a SIZZLE!!! I will post pics tomorrow of the little one :) He/she is black with a yellow chest, wing tips, and chin. :) Super egg- cited:)
So, as some of you may have experienced... 2-3 inches of snow! I have baby chicks I am getting today or tomorrow and I've got the brooder set up, are there any things I need to do for the chicks since it's officially winter? They will be silkies and sizzles!
