I was wrong, it isn't Manna Pro, whoops. Liberally sprinkled on the bedding, apparently. I'm not sure how I feel about the silica ingredient, either.

So, I work at TSC, and we got some "Zen Coop" by Manna Pro in. It's a dust, I saw "lemongrass" and "eucalyptus" and thought "hooray, some nice aromatherapy for the ducks and myself" and then realized it had diatomaceous earth in it. :hmm Is that okay for my little bantams?

It literally happened in less than one day. :confused:

Oddly enough the ladies are okay. I hate the idea of getting rid of any of them, because they all hang together. They wouldn't have a ton of room if I divide up the enclosure, but I could do that, I suppose. Or let some out in the morning and rotate others out in the afternoon.

So, my babies were all hatched together back in Feb/March, 4 drakes and 5 ladies. (Dad is an Australian Spotted, mum is a snowy call, dad and mum have a separate enclosure). The youngest lady is still in a little cage adjacent to the others' enclosure since she is 2 weeks younger and they...

No eggs or globs of any kind since the water balloon egg and the glob! She is back to being peppy and chirpy and curious. Maybe a hint of sluggishness, but nothing like she was a few days ago. Thank goodness! :thI know ducks don't have a menstrual cycle, but that's exactly what she was acting...

Made sure she ate some oyster shell last night, playing up some calcium gluconate today, that was just the short term emergency solution :)

She and Downey sleep inside and she has two special water bowls she loves to drink out of at night. They're on clips on the side of the cage so they're high up enough that they always have somewhere to dunk their heads and clean their nares:)

A little less peppy than usual, but nothing alarming. No panting, no tail pumping, and she was very excited about her romaine lettuce and wolfed down her meal worms. I put a little powdered calcium in her water, just for safety's sake. Her full egg is the strangest thing. It's 100% perfect, but...

Well, she led the charge outside this morning, so she must be feeling better! Around 3am she was shaking her head and "coughing", almost like she had something caught in her throat. I put her in the tub and she seemed to perk up. If she was a human, I'd say she had sinus drainage like I do! 😂...
