    oh im sorry to hear that nearly as bad as my week last week then i was gutted for days ,,,, but ive sorted out some more eggs my incubator is looking full again ... heres the 2nd batch of shamos and quail coming on really well ... and this is one of the 4 survivors ,,,

    how did you get on with your thai's ? ive got myself some more duck eggs and the guy replaced his 9 ko shamo eggs whitch was infertile the woman put it down to the post whyher 10 didnt hatch but i cracked the eggs and they was infertile aswell she wasnt replacing any ! ill put a few photos...

    well i had the worsed day ever yesterday ,,, started off one of my terriers got out of his run killed all my ducks and half of my shamos + thai's im totally gutted then to top it off non of the ko shamo eggs i bought was fetile,,, =( i should of candled them i know just through i was doing...

    saying that tho ive got 19 ko shamo eggs that are leaving it a bit late to hatch as everything else normally hatches a day or so early so im a bit worried about these and i havent candled them only time will tell ! the ducks are doing great getting quite big now loving the sun and there bowl...

    if they have been rocking around i would just lock them down one day cant hurt as there be moving around them selves to get ready for pipping ...

    ive had the same thing with my ducks pippped a couple of hours after putting them on lock down day 25 and and hatched the next day ! i might need to drop the temp slightly as some one said ! good luck anyway

    another 2 hatched through the night thats 3 now and one more is pipping ...=) all going well so far

    1 duck hatched so far the other 4 have pipped on day 26 i only put them in lock down yesterday afternoon ... i thought ducks hatch on day 28 so im confused ? i still dont know what breed of ducks they are ill get a couple of photos up and see if some one knows there a gold and black in colour ...

    thanks ,,, yeah there 3 weeks old now every time i walk passed the box there going nuts just looking at me for somthing ! maybe they need somthing to fill them up a bit more thats what i thought ...
