NICE! CONGRATS on fixing your incubator I have yet to fix mine... I just bought a new one... Coming in Thursday Hovabator Genesis 1588 Is yours homemade? Ducks are too young to be determined on what kind of breed they are. My "guess".... Muscovy

saying that tho ive got 19 ko shamo eggs that are leaving it a bit late to hatch as everything else normally hatches a day or so early so im a bit worried about these and i havent candled them only time will tell !

the ducks are doing great getting quite big now loving the sun and there bowl of water =)

I have my ginger thais in should be hatching on the 9th
only 3 made it passed day 10 after candling
I have 6 phoenixes
and barnyard mixes in the rest

well i had the worsed day ever yesterday ,,, started off one of my terriers got out of his run killed all my ducks and half of my shamos + thai's im totally gutted then to top it off non of the ko shamo eggs i bought was fetile,,, =(

i should of candled them i know just through i was doing right by leaving them to do there thing in the incubator ! wont make that mistake again so im on the look out for some more eggs as the mrs and kids are in bits !

i forgot to answer before about the incubators,,, no there not home made ones i think there a pic of them right at the start i just made a brooder as i had a few hatches close together . as they fluffed up i had you get them out of hatching incubator clean it and put some eggs straight on lockdown . i use one for incubating and the other for hatching ...

I think they should be hatching tomorrow actually ahaha....
I set them on the 19th.... It takes 21 days, not 20 hahahahahah
21-23 days.... If they don't hatch after that, I'll assist or most likely they have died.

Little Giants are reliable. Just bought a new bator.... Hovabator Genesis 1588... Setting over 70 eggs (I believe)
And I have about another 60 to incubate after the LG is done with this hatch

how did you get on with your thai's ?

ive got myself some more duck eggs and the guy replaced his 9 ko shamo eggs whitch was infertile the woman put it down to the post whyher 10 didnt hatch but i cracked the eggs and they was infertile aswell she wasnt replacing any !

ill put a few photos on after of the survivors - 2nd batch of shamos - quail !

my hatch was a waste
i hate LG
16 eggs/70+ eggs
FAILED . . . there were some random thais that hatched, but they are crosses however they look exactly like thais haha about 3 ?
and 2 fibro melanistica thai crosses
1 phoenix which has splayed legs, so I might just cull it ((

not only is it splayed, it has curled toes. so much to do
