What is wrong with my flock?

Can someone tell me what is wrong with our flock? Several of them have bare spots like the one I uploaded on their backsides. No, we do not have any roosters with the girls. Thanks in advance!

    Safe Vine?

I want to make a raised garden bed in front of our run and plant a vine to grow up onto the dog fence/run that will provide a natural shade for summer. What plants are safe and would grow fast to do this? I'm in NE Kansas. Thanks in advance!

    Volunteer tomatoes

My hubby discovered about 12-15 little volunteer cherry tomato plants. I transplanted them into a pot and fertilized them but they are all very wilted over now...not sure what I need to do to get them back perky again. Any suggestions of what I need to do to get them better established?

    Leftover Wheat & Corn?

My uncle (a prepper) gave us a few 5 gallon buckets of properly stored wheat & corn from when he thought things were going to go down at Y2K....do you suppose this is safe to fed our chickens 13 years later?

    Newbie!

We got our very first chickens in March so they are now around 3 months old. We weren't expecting any eggs for a few more weeks but have found 3 Americana eggs so far....must have some happy girls! They are pretty small now (golf ball size) but I'm guessing they will get bigger as the chickens...
