My ducks are not getting along after one was separated from them because of an injury

Yeah I actually have a make shift fenced in area that I keep their coop in! Do you think it's best to put her in the fenced in area and let the other two have the rest of the backyard or vice versa? My only concern is that the other two are familiar with the coop area while Blitz(the one that...

My ducks are not getting along after one was separated from them because of an injury

Hello, I made another similar post about this issue but that was before I tried putting them back together. I have 3 pekin ducks and a couple of weeks ago one of them was attacked in which I separated her, kept her in the guest bathroom for a while so she could heal. Now I have her on the porch...

    Reuniting ducks after injury?

So since I brought her back in yesterday she has been quacking her head off. I think I've almost made her more upset because she was with them and now she's separated again. Any tips to get her to calm down?

    Reuniting ducks after injury?

Ugh so they started picking at it :( luckily not bad enough to make it bleed or anything but I think they pulled out a couple feathers because it’s more visible. I guess I’ll just wait until it’s completely healed.

    Reuniting ducks after injury?

Okay I just let her out! They were all making the cutest little noises and you could tell they were happy to see her. They're currently walking around picking at the grass and looking for bugs. I'm going to be keeping an eye on them all day and then checking the wound at night to make sure it...

    Reuniting ducks after injury?

Hello! One of my ducks was attacked by something (my guess is a raccoon) about a week and a half ago. I have been nursing her back to health in the bathroom shower and a couple days ago I moved her to an enclosure on her porch as the wound is no longer open. It’s getting smaller everyday and is...

Okay so here’s what it looks like now. You can see how I was able to trim somewhat around the top but poor baby was flipping out half way through so I stopped. Although with both hands I was able to move the feathers a bit and see that’s pretty much where it ends and begins in the picture. It...

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I am happy to report that he is doing really well and healing quickly! He has been staying in the tub in the bathroom and although I can tell he is definitely lonely and misses his siblings I am relieved he is doing so well and that flies never had the chance to get...

Yeah I will try. He’s pretty upset right now because it was kind of hard to get the picture. He definitely is lower on energy than normal but he’s still drinking water and walking around like normal. What do you think from what you can tell so far? I can take him to the vet because there is one...

Hello! So for a little background I got 3 Pekin ducklings back in March from tractor supply. I did a lot of research and raised them on our screened in porch with the intent to move them to the backyard when they’re bigger and eventually let them swim in our small lake in our backyard. Well this...
